The Million Dollar Question About Dosing With CBD Oil
Probably the most asked question I get about CBD oil is how to dose it.
Due to the fact that everybody is different, this becomes an almost impossible question to answer. The studies are showing that there are so many variables that having a specific dosing amount is just not going to happen.
I can tell you with the oils I use, what to do and how to get going, but to put a blanket statement on how to dose CBD Is not going to happen.
First off, there are various strains, different ways of growing it, and also the purity is a big deal as well.
The oil we have here in Mexico is a full spectrum CBD oil with THC and it is excellent. The color, taste and effects are all superb.
This specific oil, I recommend that you dose 2 drops to start. The very first time, due to the THC, I highly recommend you are at home when dosing and do not plan to go anywhere for a bit. Both Kimberly and I got a little buzz from the first 2 doses. After that, I have nor has she had a similar experience.
You are introducing a powerful plant substance to your body that does wonders. It takes some time to build up in your system. This is why I tell everyone, give the cbd oil a good month before truly deciding how it works for you. There is some playing around with the dosage and the goal is to find YOUR sweet spot.
Please read the article below that discusses some of the dosing issues and talks about the sweet spot. This is different for every person.

Why CBD Works Better With a Little THC (Even If You Don’t Want to Get High)
The best available science makes clear that whole-plant cannabis preparations are quantifiably superior to single compounds because the plant’s complex mix of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids interact synergistically to create an “entourage effect” that enhances each other’s therapeutic effects.
However, finding your optimal dose will involve some trial and error.
According to Project CBD:
The successful use of cannabis as a medicine depends to a great extent on managing its psychoactive properties. The goal is to administer consistent, measurable doses of a CBD-rich cannabis remedy with as much THC as a person is comfortable with… Preclinical science lends credence to the notion that a small amount of THC can confer health benefits. Oral administration of a low dose of THC (1 mg/day) resulted in “significant inhibition of disease progression” in an animal model of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), according to a 2005 report in Nature, which noted: “This effective dose is lower than the dose usually associated with psychotropic effects of THC.”
In a feature called We Asked a Scientist: What’s the Right Dose of CBD?, Nick Jikomes, Leafly’s in-house neuroscientist, explored the complicated process involved in optimizing the benefits of cannabis without going one toke over the line, including managing the complex interplay between THC and CBD.
CBD is essentially getting in the way of THC’s ability to bind the CB1 receptor, which is why the presence of CBD has a significant impact on the psychoactivity of THC-containing products, [and] why the ratio of the two compounds is important for anticipating the effects of cannabis products… While THC and CBD have different pharmacological properties, they can both have similar physiological effects, probably acting through different mechanisms. For instance, both compounds can have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; they may act through different mechanisms, so having THC and CBD could potentially enhance an outcome surrounding pain relief.
The Advantages of THC Explained In Article
The Article above does a great job of not only talking about how to Dose CBD OIL but also makes a great case for having THC with it. I am reading more and more every day about the advantages of having some THC with the CBD.
THC has been demonized so long, that people sometimes are not willing to look at the benefits of THC even though there are tons of studies and also tons of usage through medical marijuana that proves the benefits of THC.
The way it is talked about in the mainstream media, however, is still very negative and this is unfortunate. The medicinal properties of the THC cannot be understated and through my own experimentation, I am finding powerful benefits to having CBD Oil with THC in it. They work synergistically to help beyond what the CBD Hemp oil will do. CBD Hemp is still a great product and I am not here to bash it at all. It saved my freaking life!
Through educating myself and looking into this aspect, I am learning a great deal and all of it is positive so far.
