My Results From CBD Oil With THC Here In Mexico

My Results Are Very Positive With The THC in The CBD Oil

I have been on CBD Oil for over 2 years now and due to what it has done for me, I would not go without anymore. I have chronic Insomnia that has cost me a lot in my life. It has led to awful depressions and other issues in my life.

I am from the United States and the only oil we can legally get has only .03% THC in the CBD Oils. After trying 3 types of CBD oil, I discovered full spectrum CBD that is organically grown and NON-GMO and pesticide free. The aspect of the full spectrum led me to wonderful nights of sleeping and I am all but cured of insomnia now. It has been nothing short of a miracle for me.

For the past 6 months, I have been living in Mexico and things are a bit different here with CBD. They are just starting to go through the regulation process. CBD oil as is marijuana has been removed from the illegal substances here.

Unlike the oil in the States, most of the oil produced here comes from the marijuana plant and contains a higher level of THC. Here is an article about the impact of having THC in the oil. I will finish up my discussion at the end of this article.

Do you even need the THC?

In an email conversation I had with Cami Noecker of Serra dispensaries, the two compound can have quite different effects. “THC and CBD are the two primary cannabinoids that occur in the cannabis plant, she explained. “The most important difference between the two is that CBD on its own will not get you ‘high.’” “THC,” she goes on to explain, “is the primary psychoactive component of cannabis,” which gives you “the traditional ‘high’ associated with cannabis.”

But according to Noecker,“CBD is much more effective when combined with THC,” and for that, we can thank something called “the entourage-effect.” “Basically,” she explained, “the two components of the plant when combined interact in our bodies in a way which produces a stronger effect. When you consume CBD with a small percentage of THC in it, the CBD will do its job better within your system providing you with better effects.”

The addition of CBD can also improve your experience with THC. In an email exchange with Andrea Sparr-Jaswa of Farma, she explained that CBD can help those with who deal with anxiety in two ways. “The addition of CBD can help to mitigate a negative outcome and keep intoxication more body focused and less cerebrally anxious. Conversely, a CBD rich product with minimal THC presence may be just what they need, especially if they’re looking to treat symptoms without intoxication. A little THC will allow CBD to work more effectively at lower doses, but the goal is always to find the lowest dose that provides the needed medicinal benefits.”

Let’s talk numbers

If you’ve ever surveyed the vast array of CBD inhalants and edibles at a dispensary, you have most likely seen “1:1,” and “2:1,” written on the packaging, and maybe even “10:1,” and “3:1.” These numbers indicate CBD-to-THC ratios, with the first number usually corresponding to the amount of CBD. (Though Doeckner was quick to point out that you should always double check, as this is “not standardized between all brands.”)

As one would expect, the higher the CBD, the less psychoactive your effect. According to Sparr-Jaswa “CBD may also help mitigate a negative outcome by preventing THC from binding as tightly to receptors, and keeping the high much more body focused than cerebrally stimulating.” Though I had one budtender tell me he could take a 2:1 and “still go about has his day and get stuff done,” anecdotal evidence I have heard from some of my cannabis connoisseur friends indicates that this is definitely not the case for everyone. A 1:1, on the other hand, means you’ve got equal amounts of both compounds on board, which can give one a traditional—though calmer—high without as much (or any) of the anxiety or paranoia they may usually have to deal with when partaking in pot.

As with any new substance, however, it’s important to ease into CBD use, especially when combined with THC. Though CBD is “non-psychoactive,” there’s always a chance you won’t like how it makes you feel. “Ultimately,” explained Sparr-Jaswa, “the ‘start low and go slow’ mantra is imperative to convey, as a low dose for one person may be a high dose for another. Even a person who consumes large quantities of inhalants may still be sensitive to edibles,” so take it easy when making any changes to your cannabis consumption.

My Thoughts On THC In CBD Oil

Due to how the United States handles CBD oil, I had not experienced CBD with higher levels of THC.

I was fortunate enough to discover a CBD Oil here in Mexico grown by a local family that is creating a Full Spectrum CBD Oil from the Marijuana plant.

I have been on the oil for 3 weeks and so far I must say, that this particular oil is fantastic. The first time we tried it, we were at a restaurant in Ajijic. I was dealing with some residual back pain from my back surgery I had only 3 weeks prior.

Kimberly was also dealing with some chronic pain issues she has had. Within 10 minutes we noticed the relief from pain after taking this oil. It was stunning!

This is not really new news. We know that even the US has been using Medical Marijuana to help people deal with pain issues and chemotherapy and other things like PTSD.

However, for me, the oil with THC was a new experiment and I have to say, I am totally sold on having a higher level of THC in the product. The THC has properties that enhance or as it was said in the article, an entourage effect.

I had great results for my insomnia with the hemp-derived no or low THC from the states. It does work and I was very pleased with the results. I did not know how I would respond to a CBD oil that is higher in THC then I was used to. My experiences smoking marijuana led me to an initial conclusion before even taking the THC Oil, that I would have issues sleeping possibly. I know many people who smoke pot to help them sleep. This never worked for me as a way to sleep, so I had some hesitations.

The first week taking the oil here in Mexico, I noticed some things and had a few concerns. I was not falling asleep as fast as I was on the Hemp based CBD Oil. However, when I did fall asleep, I slept great and woke up refreshed just like I do on the hemp-based CBD.

This has changed. My body was obviously adapting to the THC as after the first week, my ability to fall asleep quickly has recovered. This has been great as for me, this is the major issue I deal with when it comes to my health.

Also, this oil has given me additional unexpected benefits. One of them is a lower appetite. I knew that marijuana is great for digestive issues and general stomach issues. That is proven out with Chemo-therapy and one of the major benefits for those who go through the brutal treatment with Chemo.

Both Kimberly and I have noticed a reduction in the amount of food we are needing to consume.  This was totally unexpected and a very pleasant surprise. Kimberly has also STOPPED taking omeprazole. Kimberly has had to stay on this drug to deal with a stomach issue that causes feedback in here esophagus which causes coughing spells. Since taking the Omodoil, she has not needed that medication. This is wonderful news and a difference with the low-no THC in the hemp plant versus the marijuana-based CBD Oil here in Mexico.

I have to say, that the oil here is doing more than the hemp-based Cannabinoid oil in the US. This is not saying that the hemp-based CBD oil does not work, it does. I have already proven that myself. When you get a high quality US CBD, you will get benefits.

This is my experience here with OMODOIL and It is one of the finest quality oils I have ever taken. If you are here in Mexico, I highly recommend you test this product out for a month and see what it does in your health and life. I believe you will come to the same conclusions I have…This CBD Oil is amazing and I will sorely miss having it in the States.
